“Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 15 “If a person commits a trespass, and sins unintentionally in regard to the holy things of the Lord, then he shall bring to the Lord as his trespass offering a ram without blemish from the flocks, with your valuation in shekels of silver according to the shekel of the sanctuary, as a trespass offering. 16 And he shall make restitution for the harm that he has done in regard to the holy thing, and shall add one-fifth to it and give it to the priest. So the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.” Leviticus 5:14-16 NKJV

Father of restitution,
Here in Leviticus You God start to outline what justice is. Doing the right thing and putting as much right as you can if you do wrong. Making peace with those you wrong. The basics of community living and they were a large community living closely in tents!
You have generously, and beyond our comprehension, made restitution for and to us. Restoring our holiness and paying the complete price Yourself. So any restoration we may need to make is small in comparison.
We still need these laws to learn to love our neighbours. As Jesus taught us (Luke 10:25-37) our neighbour is not just those next door. And we do not always realise what we say as a light hearted aside makes a deep cut in someone else’s feelings. We do not always know and how we need Your Holy Spirit to bring things to mind to put right or apologise for. And keep us from carrying unforgiveness even in little amounts . . . You do not carry any against us . . .
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Worship Monday 2nd February 2026
Worthy of every song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You, oh, we live for You
Jesus, the Name above every other name
Jesus, the only One who could ever save
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You, we live for You
Holy, there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder
And show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me
Jesus, the Name above every other name
Jesus, the only One who could ever save
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You, oh, we live for You
Holy, there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder
And show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me
And I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
And I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken
And I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
And I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken
Holy, there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder
And show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me
