“I will praise You, for You have answered me, and have become my salvation. 22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.24 This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity. Psalm 11821-25 NKJV

Our Father,

Who art in Heaven and also here and now in our hearts. Truly a miracle of love. A God rich in its provision. Provision. A word I read in the Greek which I find means: to advance, make progress, succeed, bring forth issue, cause to prosper. Not just get rich! To dwell in Your presence, be enveloped by Your love, washed clean and sparkling with Your life and glory. Able to journey through life with Your strength and provision.

We need reminding of Your goodness sometimes. So I, we can praise You above and beyond our emotions of the today. You are the God of the living (Mark 12:26,27). Our cornerstone, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Temple priests rejected Jesus. But He became the cornerstone of the Kingdom build ofpeople. Holding everyone together. Jesus held firm in the face of suffering, death and separation from You. The Psalmist prophesied it, thank You, God can we know it. Your Christian church (family of people) will never collapse. Jesus is the cornerstone. We will rejoice and be glad today and prosper in Your love..

In Jesus beautiful name we pray.

“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12 NKJV

God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus,

But Jesus was not just like anyone else, not a historical figure, not an ancestor or someone to read stories about. He was Emmanuel, You, God with us. And he came to bring us life and it cost Him His own.

Today with the state of the world and the news, we turn to You and remember that You did not give death. You give us life. Death came through mans disobedience. Murder, death, hate, hurt and turmoil is caused by man’s sin. But You give us a clear choice. To choose You and life. We choose Christ. We do not understand why others choose every thing else but You. We are shocked at the evil in men and women’s hearts. But where there is faith, You are there. Where there is hope, You are there. Where there is injustice, You are there.

We cannot escape the outcome of sin here. Good people still die, but we know that You are ultimately, finally in control. Prayer can change things. We know that You will take us home and one day will return and bring an end to man’s sinful behaviour. An end to all sin and pain. Meanwhile we ask that You would help us to have the life of Jesus, Your abundant life in us, upholding us, helping us to see You in all our day.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
